Gwen is a Vice President of Asset Management with ApexOne. She is primarily involved in developing, refining and executing business plans for the properties in her portfolio. These activities include annual operating plans, valuations, renovation strategies and capital projects necessary to measure and yield maximum return on investment. She works closely with our operating partners to ensure the highest level of management extends to our residents.
Prior to joining ApexOne, Gwen was an Asset Manager for Hartman Income REIT, where she oversaw a diverse portfolio totaling 8.7MM sq. ft. in 64 commercial properties across Texas. Gwen was responsible for developing business plans and executing capital projects for each asset to enhance and maximize property value and cash flow. Her prior experience includes working as a collateral analyst at LCG Advisors where she provided operational support and specialized due diligence services to the asset-based lending group of various financial institutions. In this role she would review and analyze client supplied reports, field examinations, and loan documentation.
Gwen graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and recently earned her Master’s degree in Real Estate at Georgetown University. Gwen is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.
